EB5 Investment Visa
Obtaining an EB5 investor visa or green card can require extensive preparation. At the Law Offices of Hussain & Gutierrez in the California San Fernando Valley, we have the necessary experience to help clients obtain investor green cards.
Traditional EB5 Investor Visa
It can be difficult to obtain a traditional EB5 (Employment Based 5) investor visa. The requirements for a traditional investor green card include one of the following:
- Investment of at least $1 million in a new or struggling business in the U.S. and hiring 10 people within two years of starting the business
- Investment of $500,000 in a new or struggling business in a targeted employment area (TEA) in which the unemployment rate is higher than the national average and hiring 10 people within two years of starting the business
Depending on your specific business goals, a traditional EB5 investor visa may be the right option. Contact us to schedule a free consultation. We will explain the application process and help you obtain your green card.
Regional Center EB5 Investor Visa
Obtaining your green card through participation in a regional center investment allows your spouse and minor children to obtain permanent residency in the U.S. with you. We have extensive experience guiding individuals and small businesses through this EB5 Investor Visa process.
The rules for obtaining a regional center EB5 investor visa are less strict than those for a traditional investor green card. If a third party sets up a regional center, you can become an investor by contributing the required funds, and there is no requirement that you oversee the project directly or hire a minimum number of employees.
